DIGITAL ADVERTISING SALES MANAGER
Job Description:
As Digital Ad Sales Representative, you would be responsible for ad sales in our tournament's 70 digital program books. You will identify and build a database of leads, contact prospects, and liaise between the client, accounts receivable, and our program editor in order to ensure advertisements are placed properly.
Our tournament events run weekends January through early April, but ads can be placed at any time. Workload would be heavier now through the beginning of the season in January, but then nonexistent in the subsequent months beyond prospecting for new potential advertisers. The position is very flexible and can be done from home and somewhat during nontraditional work hours, as communication with potential advertisers will likely take place during the workday. (We do anticipate that most work can be done via email, however.)
Workload estimate is 6-8 hours/week October-March, 0-1 hours/week remaining months. Hourly payment preferred, rate negotiable, plus commission.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with advertisers; will be highly motivated and efficient worker; will be organized and resourceful; and will demonstrate a strong familiarity with our company and programs. An outstanding candidate would additionally have a strong familiarity with and/or connections within the a cappella community.
